1. Is Persephone FDA cleared?

Yes. Persephone is FDA 510(k) cleared as a Class II light-based device for the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Cleared is different from registered (a paperwork formality any brand can claim) and different from approved (a separate process that does not apply here). We say cleared because that is exactly what it is. Our 510(k) number is K250830.

2. What is the difference between Persephone, Persephone+, and Athena?

Persephone ($249.99) is our full-face LED mask with 186 LEDs* (744 chips) and 4 wavelengths. Persephone+ ($349.99) adds the neck and chest piece for a face-plus-neck ritual. Athena ($999.99) is our full-face LED panel for bigger sessions at home. Most customers start with Persephone.

3. What do the four wavelengths do?

Each one has a job. 415nm blue is the clarity lane, for blemish-prone skin. 590nm yellow is the redness lane, for the look of redness and uneven tone. 660nm red is the radiance lane, for the look of fine lines and dullness. 850nm near-infrared is the depth lane, reaching where visible light cannot.

4. How do I use Persephone?

Start with clean, dry skin. Put the mask on, adjust the strap, choose your mode, and relax for 10 minutes. The session ends automatically. Use it daily for best results, then follow with your usual skincare.

5. How long until I see results?

Light-based skincare rewards consistency, not intensity. Most people describe the first changes in how their skin looks and feels within a few weeks of daily use, with the look of fine lines and tone improving with continued sessions. Everyone's skin is different, which is why the guarantee runs 100 days: long enough to judge it fairly.

6. Is it safe for sensitive or redness-prone skin?

Persephone was designed with redness-prone skin in mind, which is why it includes 590nm yellow light, the wavelength chosen for the look of redness. Start with shorter or less frequent sessions and build up. If you have a diagnosed skin condition or are under a dermatologist's care, check with them first.

7. Can I use it with my serums and creams?

Use the mask on clean skin before your routine, not over products. After your session is the ideal time for serums and moisturizers.

Free shipping on every order. Orders leave our warehouse within 1 to 2 business days, and delivery takes 3 to 5 business days within the US. You get tracking by email the moment your order ships.

9. Do you ship internationally?

10. How does the 100-day guarantee work?

Every device comes with a 100-day money-back guarantee, starting the day it is delivered. Try it properly, daily use included. If you do not love it, contact us within the 100 days and we refund your full purchase price. Used devices are welcome back, sale items included, and we provide a prepaid return label. No forms, no interrogation.

11. What does the 1-year warranty cover?

Every Medea device is covered for one year from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. If your device stops working as it should under normal use, we repair or replace it free. Full terms are on our Warranty page.

12. What is 90-day price protection?

If the price of your device drops on shopmedea.com within 90 days of your purchase, we refund the difference. One email, one refund. Buy when you are ready, not when a countdown timer tells you to.
